Right when COVID hit, Penn Station in NY began undergoing a renovation to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in an effort to turn one of NYC’s most disgusting and embarrassing places into a thing of beauty. One of the improvements I was able to capture was this beautiful concave map on the ceiling of the escalator up to the 34th and 7th Ave exit, showcasing a map of NYC. Despite it being a rainy night, you can see the Empire State Building in the background.
